Privacy Policy
Your calls are not recorded, your messages are not read as a matter of routine, and your card number never reaches us. The rest is set out below.
Information we collect
- Account details you give when you sign up.
- Device and connection details — browser, device type, approximate location from your connection and when you used the service. These make fraud and abuse checks possible.
- Usage — which features you used and how long calls lasted, which is also how billing is worked out.
- Payments are handled by a payment provider. Card numbers are not stored by this site.
Camera and microphone
Your browser asks before either is switched on. They are used only to carry a call while it is live. Calls are not recorded, and recording the other person breaks the terms.
Messages
Messages are not read as a matter of routine. If something is reported, a person reviews the reported part to decide what happened — and nothing beyond it.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. It is shared only with:
- providers who run parts of the service for us — payments, hosting, abuse prevention — under contract;
- authorities, when a valid legal request requires it or someone's safety is at risk.
How long information is kept
There is no fixed period. Information is kept while any of these applies:
- your account is open;
- it is needed to settle a payment, a dispute, or a tax or accounting duty;
- it is needed to keep a removal in force — a removal, or an appeal against one, needs its record;
- the law requires it, or an investigation is open.
Once none applies, it is no longer kept.
Your choices
- Block anyone, effective at once; unblock them any time from your block list.
- Report anyone; a person reviews it.
- Ask for your account to be deleted, for a copy of your data, or ask for it to be corrected. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, and requests will be honoured.
Cookies and storage
A small amount of data is kept in your browser to keep you signed in, remember settings and spot abuse. Clearing it signs you out; blocking it entirely will break parts of the site.
Age
The service is not for anyone under 18. If an account is found to belong to someone under 18, it is closed and its information removed.
Changes
When this policy changes, so does the date at the top.
Getting in touch
[email protected] reaches a person. For anything that happened on a call, reporting them right there in the call is faster — contact lists which route fits what.
